November 10th, 2009Keeping it Clean
My doctor was telling me that I should take extra care that I won’t get any colds during this flu season. Since I am a high risk patient once the swine flu vaccine becomes available here I am one of the priorities. I just hope I can afford it. Well, I am always taking care of my health and sanitizing everything I hold and not only I wash my hands periodically, I am also using hand dryers to keep my hands dry and free from germs and bacteria.

EmmyRose, there is an email going around from a Dr. that says the air hand dryers in public bathrooms actually blow germs everywhere, and says to look on the bottom. You should see a clean white filter. It’s supposed to be changed every few months. Most are NEVER changed, so using the paper towels to dry hands and throw it away is safer. The gand sanitizer gels are the best way to kill germs on hands. I carry some in my purse.
